The Meaford Preschool is holding a fundraiser barbecue at Bill’s Valu-mart on Saturday, May 17th from 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the Great Meaford Duck Race being held Saturday, June 28th will be available. Come out, enjoy a hotdog, burger and refreshments and get your duck race tickets before they are gone. Race tickets are $5 each of 3 for $12. The 30-voice Shoreline Chorus presents Spiritual Gifts, a concert featuring many well-known spirituals in styles from traditional, to African, to gospel, at St. George’s Anglican Church, The Blue Mountains on Friday May 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 available at Thornbury Pharmasave, Jessica’s Book Nook, Stuff-to-Read, the Crow’s Nest and at St. George’s.

The St. Vincent Women’s Institute is celebrating  its 90th  Anniversary on June 11 at 1:30 p.m. in the Terrace Room at the Meaford Hall. We invite all former members of the St. Vincent W.I., all of the branch members in Grey North District and anyone interested in our  organization.  Come  celebrate with us, enjoy an afternoon of reminiscing and the music of the Goldenaires.
