It's been a long and entertaining race to be the best - be prepared to hear a wide range of music courtesy of GB Idol participants as they get set for the final round on the Meaford Hall Stage Friday, June 13.

Come on out and cheer for your favourite act!

Sponsored by the Meaford Hall & Culture Foundation, the top three place finishers will be awarded cash prizes.  Chelsea Randall, Connor Vilaca, and the Anytime Craze were named the top three competitors for first place after the most recent audience vote last month.

"The response to this project has been incredible," says Patrick Delaney, music teacher at GBSS.  Each month, over 200 people have been coming out to watch the competition at Georgian Bay Secondary School.

Premiering on February 29, Rock Star Georgian Bay began with 18 acts performing in the first showcase.  You can expect to hear genres from rock to pop and much more.  GB Idol was held the last Friday of each month.  On June 13 it all comes down to one grand prize winner by popular vote during the final showcase.

Come on out to Meaford Hall on June 13 to cheer for your favourite artist during the finale of this lively competition.  You will see the 18 original competitors and the winner crowned.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.  Showtime is 7 p.m.
