The Meaford Creative Arts Association presents ARTFEST on the bay  Saturday, July 5, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun., July 6, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. adjacent to the Harbour Pavilion.  Seventy artists and artisans from Meaford and the surrounding area showing and selling their original works of art. 

Saturday  1-4 p.m. The Regal Jazz Band,  11:30 a.m. the Unraku Puppet Ensemble, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Silent Auction.  Sunday 2-4 p.m. Variety Show showcasing local talent including the Golden Town Cloggers and Steppers.  Beer and Wine Garden, Grandma Lamb's Yogurt Truck and face painting.

The Meaford Harbour 5K Run will be held on Sat., July 19, at 9 a.m. sharp.  Registration on race day is from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.  Application and pledge forms can be found on the Meaford Hospital Foundation website, a link to which is provided or at several locations in Meaford, Thornbury and Collingwood. New this year: donate $10 and take a stroll around the harbour.

July-August
Summer Sailing Lessons at Meaford Harbour - Children and young people ages 9 - 18 are invited to learn the joy of safe sailing during weekly sailing classes in July and August. We have certified instructors, and a wide range of boats to suite beginners and advanced young sailors.

Meaford Fair prize books can be picked up at the Meaford Express, Stuff to Read, RBA, the Fabric Shoppe or the Chamber of Commerce office in Meaford.  Fair date: Sat., Aug. 30.
