Editor:

The Meaford Public Library Board would like to thank the community of Meaford for the tremendous response to our request for input into a community vision for a new library facility. As of May 31, we have had more than 80 questionnaires returned. In addition, many of you have spoken to us personally.

Overwhelmingly, you are looking for accessible space without stairs, more resources to expand our current collections, a suitable location with appropriate parking, an environmentally friendly facility, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

It is the board's intention to leave the questionnaire collection box available in the main library at least until June 30, so please continue to let us know what you think and want.

Thank you again for your continuing support.

Michael Richardson

Vice Chair, Meaford Public Library Board
