Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Georgian Triangle is, for the first time, asking Meaford and The Blue Mountains residents to go to Meaford Bowl for kid's sake.

The annual event - Tim Hortons Bowl for Kid's Sake is nation wide, and meant as a fundraiser for Big Brothers and Big Sisters (BBBS).

This will be the first time the event comes to Meaford and the proceeds raised from participant's pledges will go to support the Georgian Triangle BBBS.

Pledge forms are available at Tim Hortons in Meaford and Thornbury and BBQ Kings in Thornbury. Participants with $50 in pledges or more are eligible for special prizes including Tim Cards and restaurant vouchers.

The event runs most of the day on Saturday, March 6, at Meaford Bowl.
