After a lopsided loss against Creemore on Saturday the Atom Local League team travelled to Stayner to play the Stayner#2 team.

Stayner put the first the goal in the net, but Meaford answered right back with an unassisted goal from Jonathon Nix. Stayner scored again near the end of the second period but once again Meaford answered right back with a goal scored by Matt Hawken and assisted by Quinlan Wilkie.

Unfortunately the team ran out of steam in the third period and Stayner was able to score three unanswered goals to win the game 5-2.

Our next game is Saturday when we face off against Honeywood on  home ice at 1 p.m.
