Led by Marie King's 429 double (209/220) the league leading Tulips cashed in all five points to increase their league lead to three over the Irises and the Roses. Marie's score was the day's high and also established a new high count for all bowlers for this season.
Other good individual efforts by the ladies were posted by Marion Genoe 363, Shirley Carpenter 325, Betty Burnside 313 and Jean Brunskill 308. Lloyd Wilcox led all men with 350 followed by Leo Girard 349, Bev Genoe 315, Ben Kortland 307, Ray Adams 304 and Ken Sewell 303.
Ben Kortland notched the high handicap single (244/36 over average) while Ray Adams scored the best handicap double (448/34 over average). Marie King's 280 handicap single (70 over average) and 549 handicap double (129 over) were tops for the ladies.
