A man and woman who were bond by a probation order not to contact each other were arrested Thursday night.

Grey County OPP officers went on an apartment on 6 and 10 Highway, just south of Owen Sound, in Meaford at about 11 p.m. Jan. 28.

They found a man and a woman together who were both bound by court issued probation orders that specified they were not to contact, communicate or associate with each other.

The probation orders were issued in the Owen Sound court last August and were for 12 and 18 months respectively.

Charged with breach of probation are a 31-year-old Owen Sound man and a 28-year-old Meaford woman. Both were held in custody prior to a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice-Owen Sound on Jan. 29.
