OPP report a number of guns were stolen in a break, enter and theft in the Francis Lake area reported Thursday night.
The break and enter occurred at a residence on Lindenwood Road, west of Grey Road 17, in the Municipality of Georgian Bluffs. Police say their investigation indicates that the home was entered sometime between the January 14 and 28. A black metal gun cabinet containing three firearms and a pellet gun was taken. The stolen guns are described as:
• Winchester Model 70 deer rifle, bolt action that uses 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser shots with a Bushnell scope attached;
• CVA Optima, black powder gun, 50 caliber, break open action, camouflage with scope.
• Remington Model 870, 12 gauge pump action shotgun;
• Canadian Tire pellet gun.
