Guns Stolen in Break and Enter

OPP report a number of guns were stolen in a break, enter and theft in the Francis Lake area  Thursday night.

The target was a Lindenwood Road house, west of Grey Road 17, in Georgian Bluffs. Police say the home was entered sometime between January 14 and 28. A black metal gun cabinet containing three firearms and a pellet gun was taken. They are described as:
• Winchester Model 70 deer rifle, bolt action that uses 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser shots with a Bushnell scope attached;
• CVA Optima, black powder gun, 50-calibre, break open action, camouflage with scope.
• Remington Model 870, 12-gauge pump-action shotgun;
• Canadian Tire pellet gun.

Anyone with information that might assist is asked to contact Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

The investigating officer is Constable Deb Morton.
