An Owen Sound man had a bad day in Meaford.
First, he was charged Saturday afternoon by Grey County OPP with possession of marijuana, then he was charged later in the evening with causing a disturbance after the Hank Williams concert at Meaford Hall.
Grey County OPP stopped a vehicle on Grey Road 29 in Meaford just before 3 p.m. A man in the back seat had an open bottle of beer and a canvas bag inside the car containing additional bottles of beer. What looked like marijuana was also inside, weighing slightly less than 200 grams.
It was seized and the passenger was arrested and charged.
The 38-year-old man was charged with possession and released on a promise to appear.
Later that night, police were called to Meaford Hall following a concert where they ended up charging the same guy with public intoxication and causing a disturbance.
He'll be in Owen Sound court April 24.
