Canada Blooms Excursion
Dont miss out! Few tickets remain for the excursion to Canada Blooms - The Toronto Flower and Garden Festival which has been arranged by the library Arts Advisory Committee.
Transportation by coach departs at 8 a..m. from the Beaver Valley Community Centre, on Wednesday March 12, and will return at approximately 6:30 p.m. Your ticket price of $52 includes return coach bus trip, boxed lunch and admission to the show. March Break at the Library - Children's Programs
The theme of this year's March Break celebrations at the library is Where the Wild Things Are.
Bayou Bash - Listen to Cajun Music as we make Carnival Masks on Tuesday March 22, 2-4 p.m., ages 10 and up. Cost is $5 per person which includes supplies. Please register in advance as space is limited.
Monster Mumbles Story Time - Listen to stories on Wednesday March 12, 10:30 – 11 a.m., ages 2 – 6 years accompanied by an adult. This program is free but please register in advance.
Gargoyle Games Table - Check out our latest board games or try out the Ogre Out Takes challenge on Friday March 10. Just drop in.
Totem Pole Madness and other Activities - Enjoy wild word play and TOTEM POLES, ongoing March 12 through to the 14 (drop-in). No supervision will be provided for these activities.
Creature Contest - Enter to win some un-tamed delights! Age 18 years and younger - ongoing March 11-14.
Super Scary Saturday - Enjoy super scary stories, games and activities on Saturday March 15, 2-4 p.m., ages eight years plus.

Book Talk
L. E. Shore Memorial Library and Jessica's Book Nook present How to Look at Paintings - A Talk & Slide Show with Ian Roberts on Saturday March 29, at 2 p.m. at the library. Ian teaches painting throughout the U.S., and in Provence, France each year. He has produced two videos on how to paint and is the author of Creative Authenticity and Mastering Composition.
