The second round of Rockstar: Georgian Bay will take the stage this Friday night at GBSS.
After its successful debut concert at the end of February, Rockstar: Georgian Bay is back for a heated second round.
Last month saw the elimination of solo performers Dwayne, Dave Cowan and Jordan Reinders from the vast talent pool, leaving only 15 acts to perform in Friday's show and an audience torn over who should come out on top claiming the $400 prize in June.
"We have a genuinely talented group of performers," said GBSS music teacher Patrick Delaney.
"The audience has a very tough decision on their hands. It's going to be incredibly difficult to pick just one winner."
This month will also feature a couple of surprise guest performances, a jam song featuring all competitors onstage at the same time and an audience Guitar Hero competition during the set-up in between acts.
All three competitors who were cut from the competition last month delivered excellent performances and proved that no one is safe in this competition where the students vote for their favourite performers, so whether this will be your first experience witnessing Rockstar: Georgian Bay or if you're a returning fan hungry for more, it's crucial that you come and support your favourite or they too may face elimination.
Round two will take the stage this Friday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the GBSS cafeteria.
