May 1 is opening day for the 18-Hole Ladies' Golf Club, which welcomes current and potential members to register Thursday, April 24, at Meaford Golf Club.

After registration, from 9 to 10 a.m., a general meeting, lunch and optional golf will be held. Our friendly group plays 18 holes of golf every Thursday morning from May through September.

Genny Horn, current club president, says members can enjoy regular golf, as well as fun days, which include Canada Day celebrations, a best ball scramble, coloured ball and more.
