Members of the Bognor Community Centre and the Meaford Museum are partnering to create a new exhibit on the history of the Centre, its contributions to the Bognor community, and the Municipality of Meaford.
"We are hoping to have the exhibits on the Bognor Community Centre and two more for the Riverside and Woodford Community Centres ready for the beginning of June," says Museum curator Pam Woolner. "However, we are in need of the community's assistance to find artifacts and pictures on specific topics."
Woolner says they are looking for pictures of the old Bognor Hall (pre-fire), pictures of the old Bognor Hall on fire, and pictures taken at the opening of the new Bognor Community Centre. They would also like to receive pictures of large community groups and items related to the history of the hall.
"If you have artifacts or pictures and are willing to lend them to the Museum for this exhibit it would be greatly appreciated," said Woolner, who added that any pictures or documents would be scanned and copied for the exhibit.
