S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violence Everywhere) at Georgian Bay Secondary School would like to thank the community for their support in making this year's 30 Hour Famine our most successful fundraiser ever.

This year, 52 participants raised a record-breaking $4,600 for World Vision.

Everyone who participated would also like to thank the local businesses that donated food for us to eat after our famine: Tim Horton's, New Orleans Pizza, Pizza Delight, Bill's Valu-mart, McGinty's, and Dairy Queen.

We would also like to thank the Meaford Rotary Club for sponsoring a concert for us by Wil. It was an amazing experience and very well-appreciated.

We would also like to express our appreciation to the teachers who volunteered during the famine--we couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you all for your incredible support
