Student Council executive and class representatives present a cheque for $150 to Breakfast Club student volunteers.

Meaford Community School students have demonstrated great school spirit this fall by contributing to the Breakfast Club program.

The Student Council organized a dance with the proceeds going to help offset some of the costs of the Breakfast Club, in which students in grades 6, 7, and 8 volunteer to help serve food and clean up each morning. Student Mat Hayward also generously donated money to the Breakfast Club after guests at his birthday party gave donations in lieu of gifts. The school commends these students for their efforts to make such a valuable program a success. Also, they would like to thank community volunteers, service clubs, churches, and local businesses for their donations of time, money and food.
